Our Story

Rooted in Tradition. Draped in Legacy. Reimagined for Today.

Magga was born not from a boardroom idea, but from generations of quiet craftsmanship, passed down like heirlooms through time.

Our story begins in a home where looms hummed softly in the background, where silk threads ran through fingers before they ever ran through markets. The matriarchs and patriarchs of our family were not just weavers—they were storytellers, spinning yarns of tradition, patience, and pride into every saree they created. They believed a saree wasn’t stitched from fabric—it was woven with intention, identity, and timeless elegance.

Founded by a family that lives and breathes the craft, Magga is our way of preserving a sacred legacy while dressing today’s woman in her most powerful, feminine, and graceful self. At the heart of Magga is Rukmini, a proud mother and skilled artisan whose touch brings life to every thread. Alongside her is Kumaraswamy, whose wisdom and quiet resilience have preserved the sacred weaving practices of our ancestors. Together, they passed on not just a craft to their son, but a calling.

Kishore, the next generation, grew up watching sarees take shape at home—not just as garments, but as expressions of identity, grace, and tradition. With a deep respect for the roots he inherited and a vision to reimagine them for today’s world, he founded Magga—a space where the soul of handloom meets the spirit of modern fashion.

When you wear Magga, you don’t just wear a saree.
You wear a lineage. You wear love. You wear a legacy reimagined.
